Professional Development

WFIS partners with a variety of national, state and regional organizations to provide ongoing professional development opportunities to our members. Below are some PD programs that are currently available.

Association of Educational Service Districts (AESD)


The nine Washington State ESDs are supporting school districts statewide with a suite of continuous learning professional development opportunities.  These opportunities are open to both public and private schools.

PNMA is a non-profit professional organization, founded in 1962,  comprised of teachers, interns, administrators, and schools promoting excellence and growth in Montessori education. PNMA educators are dedicated to working harmoniously in supporting, nurturing, and connecting Montessori professionals from diverse training backgrounds across the Pacific Northwest.

 

Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS)


NWAIS offers a variety of approaches to Professional Development allowing attendees to get started in a topic or develop high-level expertise. Discover events bringing trending topics and best practices together to benefit your school.

UCDS – College for School Culture


The UCDS Institute offers a variety of professional development experiences from hands-on workshops and self-paced online modules to consulting partnerships and advanced degrees.  We’re committed to helping educators grow in their careers and to inspire future teacher leaders.
