Public school students can earn college credits in the high school classroom through a handful of public universities, and private school students are seeking the same access to this opportunity and support.

WFIS is working with our high schools and public and private higher education schools to determine the best way to support ALL of Washington’s students. Providing this economic advantage to some students but not all does not serve graduating students or the economy. The best way to ensure a healthy workforce is to encourage students to stay in Washington and help them earn a college degree in every possible way. WFIS schools and many higher education programs believe College in the High School (CiHS) courses should be free for all Washington students, not just some.
