Congratulations are in order to these stellar private school teachers on their professional educator advisory board (PEAB) appointments:
Respected and experienced Lynden Christian School teacher Kimberly Grycel has been appointed to the professional educators advisory board at Western Washington University’s Woodring College of Education. “As a graduate of Western and Woodring, I am honored to be a part of this board.”
Yakima Valley Community College is welcoming St. Joseph Marquette Catholic School’s Ester Seidl to their professional educators advisory board. Ester has been a middle school math teacher for 10 years at St. Joseph Marquette Catholic School and earned her administrator’s certification through the University of Portland last year.
PEABs support continual improvement to the degree and certification programs throughout WA State as discriminating advisors and educational advocates. The New PEAB member handbook outlines everything the State expects and provides regarding work on a Professional Education Advisory Board.
WFIS is honored that Kimberly and Ester will be contributing board members on these two essential teaching degree programs.
Do you know of a teacher in a private school who stands out as a leader in their field? WFIS accepts recommendations for preK through 12th grade educators to serve on all of the Washington State’s college and university degree programs. Currently, Washington State University in Pullman and Walla Walla University have openings on their advisory boards.
