The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is exploring an online tool, initially developed by Evident Change for Humboldt County, CA, that could guide mandatory reporters on whether to file a report or pursue alternative support. This tool could eventually be tailored specifically for WA, so they are inviting educators, school counselors, and others to try it in “practice” mode to explore the tool’s features without submitting real cases.
