The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) has articulated a new approach to its relationship with early learning programs. The agency is committed to becoming more of a resource and less compliance-driven. In this spirit, DCYF is offering a survey after each licensing visit to generate feedback and improve its relationship with providers.
Directors will automatically receive a survey by email following their annual monitoring visit. Responses will be used to help guide licensing practices, inform DCYF staff training, and support ongoing system improvements.
Participation in the survey provides an opportunity for early learning leaders to share constructive feedback and help evolve the licensing process.
