The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) has announced a pause in onboarding new schools and child care to the WA-IIS School and Child Care Immunization Module beginning August 15, 2025, through the end of the calendar year. This temporary pause is due to reduced staffing and is intended to allow DOH to focus on supporting existing users during the busy back-to-school period and annual immunization reporting.
New onboarding is expected to resume in January 2026.
Schools and child care that would like to participate in the future can still submit a signed Information Sharing Agreement (ISA) before August 15. ISAs submitted after the deadline will be processed in the order received once onboarding resumes next year.
