EANS I Payments expected by April 15

EANS I schools received welcomed news that the Supplemental Budget included funding to repay schools for their full EANS I expenses. Before payments can be issued, the Governor needs to sign the supplemental budget within twenty days of the close of the legislative session (by March 27, 2024). The Chief Financial Officer, T.J. Kelly, confirmed payments will be made before April 15. This timing allows for any hoops with the funds transfer from the Office of Financial Management to OSPI. All private schools will have their overdue payments fully reimbursed soon!
