EANS Update: the good, the bad & the ugly

EANS I
  • The last day for spending EANS I is Sept 30, 2023.
  • 64% of the funding has been spent as of March 31.
  • Contact EA**@K1*.us to make any changes to your budget.
  • The three vendors for EANS I are Catapult, FACTS, and All Belong.

 

EANS II
  • The last day for spending EANS II is Sept 30, 2024.
  • 7% of the funding has been spent as of March 31.
  • The process of utilizing Classwallet is not speedy. It requires the school to contact the vendor, receive an invoice, then upload the invoice to Classwallet. When OSPI sees and approves the invoice, OSPI pays Classwallet, then Classwallet pays the vendor.

 

The OSPI Ombuds informed the Private School Advisory Committee members that the Governor earmarked the reverted $40 million EANS II funds to public school Transitional Kindergarten.
