The Washington State School Directors’ Association (WSSDA) has taken over from OSPI the election process for the State Board of Education positions.
This year, the election will be via email rather than a mailed paper ballot.
Three open positions are to be filled – 1 eastern WA, 1 western WA, and 1 private school seat for terms to begin in January 2024.
Private school ballots will be emailed to the HOS as indicated on the school’s annual approval report. The voting window will be from Oct 1 through Oct 16.
