Yakima Valley College is seeking a private school elementary teacher from the Yakima region to join its Professional Educator Advisory Board (PEAB). This board met virtually on February 9 and will meet virtually again on April 13 at 4 pm, so no travel to the college is required to serve on the board. The college requests that board members serve a 2-year term.
Board seats at the college PEABs are important opportunities to incorporate private school perspectives into Washington State’s teaching degree programs. WFIS would be happy to answer any questions a teacher may have about contributing to a PEAB.
