WFIS encourages school leaders to review their policies on public access to campus and practices on record collecting/sharing. Please consult legal counsel to understand the difference between judicial and administrative warrants, how these impact access to school campus/records/students, and writing policy on record collection/sharing.
Many private schools do not collect immigration status information, but it’s important to establish guidelines for handling speculation on this matter.
