Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in specific content area; Master’s degree or higher preferred
Washington State Teaching credential (or ability to obtain one) in content area
Annual contract beginning in the Fall
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to:
Possess ability to teach Biology (may also teach 1-2 sections of Marine Biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology)
Collaborate in Professional Learning Communities and working toward consensus with team members
Structure student learning to meet Common Core, State, National, or other standards
Create common formative and summative assessments with department team members
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Strategize for enrichment/intervention to meet the needs of all students
Utilize technology (interactive boards, one-to-one devices, google suite) to inform instruction

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $68,796 – $134,483
