Job Opening: Front Office Manager
Eaton Arrowsmith Academy in Redmond, WA specializes in improving brain functions though cognitive exercises of the Arrowsmith Program for students kdg – adults, along with a robust project-based academic program. We are searching for an accomplished Office Manager to support our school community starting May/June 2021. We seek an individual who is committed and passionate about both business management and education, understanding how the two are deeply intertwined and essential to furthering our school’s mission. Our Office Manager needs to be professional in business functions and yet creative, compassionate, and flexible creating a warm, inclusive community for students, staff and families. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Job responsibilities include:
Administration of school records maintaining organization, privacy, and security.
Acting as liaison between schools and state and local government agencies for annual reporting and licensing.
Teaming with the EA School administrators in support of marketing, enrollment, staffing, and bookkeeping using our CRM, Quickbooks, the Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
Overseeing day-to-day financial and facility operations, including accounting activities, purchasing, general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, facility maintenance and repair.
Acting as first point of contact for EA-Redmond creating a welcoming environment in person, on the phone, or via online connections.
Managing emergency preparedness supplies and administers general first aid care for students, managing medications in accordance with school policy and procedures.
Collaborating with Principal and staff for school events, coordinating and scheduling via online invitation and rsvp systems.
Developing and maintaining school’s annual calendar, coordinating with IT manager to ensure website information is correct and updated.
Coordinating weekly newsletter to our community using CRM templates
In a small school community, we all wear many hats and work as a team. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be flexible, attentive to detail, and able to manage multiple interruptions throughout the day as well as have the ability to exercise judgment and discretion to ensure appropriate communication of sensitive and private information.
