Elementary Teacher – Primary
Description: Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Contracted, Exempt
Start Date: August 2024
Salary: Base compensation range dependent on prior experience and education, starting at $43,500/year
Desired applicants will meet the following requirements:
Role Qualifications
1. Possess a valid Washington State teaching certificate
2. Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in education, a specific content area, or related field
3. Demonstrate successful teaching experience relevant to the teaching role being applied for
4. Have a collaborative approach with administrators, faculty, staff, students, and parents
5. Communicate and operate with integrity, excellence, and effectiveness, both verbal and written
Essential Physical Functions/Demands
1. Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time, sit, kneel, bend and move around the classroom and building throughout the day
2. Must have the ability to lift approximately 10 lbs. and occasional moving of equipment and/or materials
3. Must be able to monitor student safety along with implementing emergency procedures
