Superintendent Opportunity
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Superintendent is the chief agent of the board and is responsible for carrying out board policy decisions while providing spiritual and administrative leadership in support of the mission. As a professional leader of the staff, the Superintendent is the official through whom the Board exercises its responsibility for providing the best possible program of Christian education, from a reformed, Christian worldview perspective to all students.
The Superintendent works closely with the Board, school administrators, teachers, staff, students, parents, and society to promote a Christ-centered learning environment and achieve the school’s goals. Responsibilities include overseeing the development and implementation of educational programs rooted in a Reformed Christian worldview, ensuring compliance with educational regulations and standards, and fostering a positive school culture grounded in Christian values. Strong communication, faith-based values, and leadership are essential for this role.
Candidate Qualifications:
•Refer to the job description for the complete list of faith, character, knowledge and strengths requirements.
•Master’s degree in education, leadership, or a related field that provided training for leading and educating. Educational state certification expected (or willingness to secure state certification).
•5+ years’ experience and training in leading and supervising others with teaching experience. A meaningful connection to Christian education; able to articulate the value of Reformed Christian education.
•Other combinations of education and experience that provide the candidate with the necessary qualifications may be considered.
