Congratulations to WFIS board member, Charis Sharp, on her new advocacy role with the Montessori Public Policy Initiative.  She is now the Interim Director of MPPI.  Montessori Schools will benefit greatly from her vast experience advocating for education, influencing policy and promoting Montessori education locally and nationally, and taking the initiative to more Montessori forward in Washington State.

WFIS just returned from an MPPI conference in Washington, DC at which it presented a session called Advocacy 101, which focused on the connected work of state and national Advocacy. AMI and AMS leadership are working together within MPPI to expand Montessori while promoting strong policy that supports this expansion and furthers quality education for all kids.
