The WA State Department of Health has released a new Limited Exchange Information Sharing Agreement (ISA) for private schools and child care that do not have a nurse to access the School Module. The head of the school must sign the agreement, which will allow users to view and print Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS) forms and file the school’s annual immunization report online. Using the IIS is simple and accurate, removing the cumbersome paperwork for filing the DOH’s annual immunization report.
Access is limited, so users cannot add vaccination dates to the IIS. To gain full access and add dates, schools will need to secure support from a medical provider.
