Private schools will be approved or provisionally approved at the State Board of Education’s June 2024 Board Meeting. If you need to figure out how the process is going for your school, check its status on the downloadable spreadsheet on the Private School Approval website. The spreadsheet is labeled “Private schools approval statuses (updated May 14 at 9:00 a.m.)“.
Any additional materials are due by June 7. If your school is required to submit inspection or staffing reports but did not do so by April 1, you have until June 7 to email them to nicole.mulhausen@k12.wa.us.
The Certificates of Approval will be available for download on the SBE private school webpage in July. They will all be in one document, so you must scroll for your school’s name and print the appropriate certificate page.
