Grief After Suicide: A Workshop for Schools
November 13 from 9 – 10:30 am. $25 hosted by UW Forefront; 1 clock hour. This 90-minute interactive workshop is designed for school staff who support children and adolescents grieving a suicide loss. Participants will learn to recognize grief signs and symptoms, explore strategies for supporting students at school and at home, and consider postvention approaches following a suicide. Big Feelings, Busy Brains: Helping Kids & Adults Thrive when Learning is Hard

ADHD Uncovered: Recognizing the Signs at School with NWESD

We will explore how ADHD manifests in classroom behavior: inattention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, difficulty with transitions, social interactions with peers, reactive aggression, and more. 4 clock hours for $17.
Suicide, Autism, and ADHD with NWESD

This training provides school staff with essential knowledge and strategies to support the mental health and safety of students, particularly those with autism and ADHD, who may be at increased risk for suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Participants will learn to recognize warning signs, understand the unique challenges these students face, and implement effective prevention and intervention techniques within the school environment. Emphasis will be placed on creating inclusive, supportive spaces that foster connection, resilience, and timely response to ensure all students feel safe and valued. 2 Clock Hours for $11.
