Plans are underway to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Washington State has established an official state committee to plan events and activities and launched the America250WA.org website.
Organizations around the state, including education, libraries, history, arts, culture, government, Tribal, businesses, and community, can sign up as partners to receive helpful resources for planning and participating in commemorative activities.
