On May 2nd at 7 pm, the Seattle Times will host “The Future is in Our Hands,” a free interactive evening for community members at Franklin High School in Seattle, highlighting five featured presentations on how Washingtonians are working to help students succeed.
The Overlake School’s junior year student, Mahi Mallidi, and another leader of the Washington Youth Alliance will talk about their experiences in youth activism and state politics.
