The Clean Buildings Performance Standard is a Washington State law that aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase energy efficiency. The law is being implemented by the Washington State Department of Commerce. All commercial buildings of 20,000 SF and larger will have to comply with several requirements.  Various resources and support systems exist aiming to help building owners meet the requirements of this law.

Smart Buildings Center Help Desk

The Smart Buildings Center provides support, resources, and training to assist building owners in complying with the Clean Buildings Performance Standard. This service is sponsored and made possible by the Washington State Department of Commerce and participating utilities.

The Smart Buildings Center’s CBPS Help Desk offers assistance via one-on-one appointments, virtual meetings or a simple phone-call to help with Clean Buildings questions. Virtual meetings are bookable online and can be beneficial to show an online resource, demonstrate a process, and look at a specific challenge together.

Simply book a Virtual Meeting, email cleanbuildingshelp@smartbuildingscenter.org, or call 206-624-7570.
