DOH has announced that all school orders of COVID-19 test kits need to be placed by Wednesday December 7 for a December 16 delivery. Put your order in now to prepare for the return of students after winter break. Health Commons has assured WFIS that there will be ample test kits available to all schools thanks to the updated WATSON Delivery Express system. The new program has proven successful and ensures packages get all the way to a final hand-off.
- Order tests no later than this Wednesday, December 7th to receive before Winter Break.
- Any orders on or after Thursday, December 8th will be delivered the first week of January.
- Continue to use the DOH ordering portal to make their orders.
- Here is the guide for tracking orders.
In November, the public was unable to order COVID tests for home delivery through the “Say Yes! COVID Test” system due to lack of supplies. Schools play a vital resource for families to have quick, free access to testing when needed.
Parents and schools may be interested to hear that in January, Health Commons will offer schools BD Triplex to detect Flu A&B and COVID-19 with one test. In addition, the school toolkit will contain information on updating your MTS license, ordering tests, collecting consent, and instructions on what to do with positive flu or COVID-19 results.
