FREE COVID tests from Fed Gov
Beginning Monday, every U.S. household can again order four free COVID-19 rapid tests delivered directly to their home. https://www.covid.gov/tests, Before throwing out “Expired” tests, check if your COVID-19 kits’ expiration dates have been extended.
Schools and childcare are required to report COVID-19 outbreaks
- FIVE or more confirmed or suspected cases among a cohort in 7 days OR
- Multiple COVID cases from positive tests comprising at least 20% of a cohort (students, teachers, or staff within a specified core group) within 7 days.
- Outbreaks must be reported to your local health department.

Vaccination
There is no school or childcare requirement for COVID-19 vaccine. Washington State provides all recommended vaccines at no cost for children through age 18 including the COVID-19 Vaccines via the Childhood Vaccine Program.
