Along with the State Board of Education’s (SBE) work on mastery-based learning for public schools, the SBE will also ask the Legislature for funding to support FutureReady, its strategic plan to update high school graduation requirements. The SBE wants to “develop modern graduation requirements that integrate essential skills such as financial education and digital literacy.”

WFIS will also use the Board of Education’s public comment opportunities at its meetings to emphasize any plan components that counter private schools’ curriculum independence.
