Eastside Preparatory School’s vision is to inspire students to create a better world. Our mission is to guide students to Think critically, Act responsibly, Lead compassionately, and Innovate wisely. These four mission components guide the development of curriculum as well as the evolution of the EPS culture. Founded in 2002, Eastside Prep was re-accredited by NWAIS in January 2019. Eastside Prep has grown from 17 students in 2003-2004 to a projected total of 540 students for academic year 2026-2027.
Position Summary: Reports to a Division Head and Director of Enrollment Management. Responsibilities will include developing curriculum and teaching Spanish language and literature to students in grades 5 – 12 and serving as the school’s Spanish language community ambassador.
All full-time teachers work as part of a teaching team to create an inquiry-based interdisciplinary program in which the academic disciplines are taught as systems and methods of thinking about significant content. Responsibilities include curriculum development, teaching, assessment, communication with parents, collaborative work with colleagues, and general engagement with the entire school. As the Spanish Language Community Ambassador, this position also supports Spanish-speaking families through admissions, onboarding, and major community events; reviews and edits Spanish-language communications—including enrollment, registration, and financial aid materials—to ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy and accessibility.

Credentials and Experience:
- BA degree required; master’s or doctorate preferred
- Minimum of three years teaching experience in the discipline, with some experience in the development of interdisciplinary curricula
Compensation:
Our competitive annual salary range is $69,500 to $117,950 based on experience.
