The Professional Educator Standards (PESB) has approved earning activity-based continuing education credit hours for Professional Educator Advisory Board (PEAB) members and program review teams.

Individuals are eligible for the clock hours for up to seven years following the completion date of the indicated activity (WAC 181-85-033). Documentation of the completed continuing education credit hours must be completed on the OSPI clock-hour form below and logged into educators’ E-Certification accounts as “Other” hours.

Form 1128-12-Professional Educator Advisory Board Member:

  • 10 equivalent clock hours for serving on an educator preparation program’s PEAB.

Moving forward, we hope this helps incentivise more teachers to accept openings on these college and university education degree advisory boards.

*WFIS will email this information to all private school educators we have appointed to serve on PEABs over the last 7 years.
