Attention Private School Leaders
Your input on the updates being made to the K-12 Health and Safety Guide is needed before you wrap up this school year. These rules that affect all levels of public and private school oversight have not been updated since 2003, so it is reasonable to expect that once they get voted into WAC, schools will be beholden to them for another twenty years!
This is the private school community’s chance to dive in and comment on the health and safety rules that impact your life daily. Your facilities staff, emergency response team, and other appropriate team members can comment on the rules.
Please use the survey link at the bottom of the DOH webpage to provide feedback by June 15, noting the section and title on which you’d like to give input.
