After an extensive national search, the NAIS board of trustees has concluded that Donna Orem, current interim president since Nov 2015, will serve as the association’s next president.
Orem’s public acceptance letter reflects on key issues independent schools will be facing – new education models, skyrocketing costs, rapid technological change, and where the next generation of leaders will come from – stating “We need to create a new future for Independent Schools”.
