The JED Foundation: Schools’ opportunity
The JED High School program, a partnership with UW Forefront Suicide Prevention and The Jed Foundation, provides Washington high schools with a comprehensive 36-month framework to strengthen student mental health and suicide-prevention systems.
Participating schools complete student and staff assessments and surveys, receive detailed feedback reports with customized recommendations, and work with a dedicated School Mental Health Specialist for ongoing support and technical assistance.
Several private schools in WA already use the JED program.
