KING COUNTY
August 28th King County released their King County Schools COVID-19 Response Toolkit and earlier in the week published this Frequently Asked Questions website for schools and child care. Both of these resources are living documents and will be regularly reviewed and updated. The toolkit includes an outline of key roles and responsibilities of schools in responding to suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases among students and staff. Additionally, the toolkit includes form letters and fact sheets to share with families and staff.
SKAGIT COUNTY
September 1st Skagit County Public Health shared with WFIS their Skagit County_COVID_Repsonse kit which includes template letters that for the following situations:
- Student not passing health screening
- Student or staff testing positive for COVID-19
- Student or staff close contact to person testing positive for COVID-19
PIERCE COUNTY
And Pierce County Health also is offering their School Covid-19 Case Response Toolkit which includes plan guidance, scripts for phone calls, parent letter templates, what to do scenarios and posters for various situations throughout the school building.
