The Waste Not Washington School Awards Program established by RCW 70A.214.100 promotes waste reduction and recycling in public and private schools, from kindergarten through high school.
Employees of K-12 Washington schools can apply for up to $5,000 in funding towards waste reduction, recycling, or composting projects or curricula. Schools can apply for more than one of the grant program categories now through October 31.
